Reem Nazir is a painting member of the women's Saudiaat Art Group. Although born in Jeddah she lived abroad for many years. Her painting was self-taught but she had some instruction from a president of Chelsea art Club in London. Her colourful still lifes, landscapes, people and jewellery paintings show much or Saudi Arabia but do not ignore her knowledge of the world. Oriental silver may join pots form the Provence. She has had or joined exhibitions in England, Marocco, California and New Mexico, one of which was a 2000 solo exhibition at Leighton House Museum in London.
